This was the co-joined "his and her room" for the lady and gentleman of the house, Mrs. & Mrs. R. S. Thomas, from 1889 until 1915. "His" connecting back room may be rented along with "hers" at additional cost. Romance is in style with ornate decor. 1850s Victorian Rococo Revival (French Baroque style) queen bed and dresser, along with tea table and chairs. Spacious private bath has a skirted vanity, pedestal sink, and claw foot tub with shower head attachment. Front bay window provides a bird's eye view of a corner our town's of original colonial roads.
Optional: Adjoining Room with connecting door has a c.1910 full bed as well as wardrobe and vanity with inlay accents. It shares a bath with traveling companions. Usually rented for close family and friends. Remains vacant otherwise. Additional $79~$92 per night.
Eastlake Room: $149~$189 per night double occupancy standard rate.
Handsomely appointed with turn-of-the- (20th) Century Eastlake ("modern" Victorian furniture style around 1900) has two full beds, wardrobe, dresser, and private bath with claw foot tub (shower head attachment).
Tower Suite: $139 standard double occupancy rate
Angular, casual cottage style room is a "double-sided", completed attic level. A queen bed and a double bed are behind a sitting area which faces a window overlooking the garden. A vintage daybed (two separate petite mattresses) is in a dressing area off the private bath, making this suited for younger families. Modern private bath has shower head attached to bath tub. Two flights up our grand staircase with 20 steps per flight, it is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
